Something Borrowed, Nothing Blue!

Ok, so I just finished watching this movie. And it was a nice change from the movies I've been watching lately (Iron Man 3, Aashiqui 2). It wasn't anything special, just a sweet love story, with a happy ending, just how I like it.

A cattish best friend, unrequited love, a sick mother (= emotional blackmail), this movie has all these things and more!

The story in movie stills:

Girl 1 & Girl 2 are best friends since birth or something:

Girl 1 meets Boy and they both like each other, but neither actually does anything about it -> lazy!!

Shy Girl 1 introduces Boy to Girl 2, and they hit it off!

 

Boy and Girl 2 get engaged, after falling in love and all that!

That is when Girl 1 realizes her feelings for Boy and so does Boy. They get together.

 

They cheat for a while on Girl 2, but then Girl 2 also cheats on Boy, with Boy's friend, who Girl 1 used, to make Boy jealous!!

Anyway, it all ends well, though the friendship is broken, as Girl 2 ends up with Boy's friend, and Girl 1 ends up with Boy.

Also, I was wondering who Boy reminded me off, and it was Google to the rescue, as always!

Fifty Shades Darker & Fifty Shade Freed - E.L. James

Ok, so I've just finished reading the entire trilogy! Finally, Phew! Frankly speaking, it was tiring, and I've had enough of Ana's inner goddess, and Christian's fifty shades. Although it was a compulsive read, and I just had to know how it was all gonna end. And now I do. So, that is that.

My recommendation is read the books, strike them off your to-read list and move on!

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Ok, so its really really hot here. I wake up every morning soaked in my own sweat, and its not a pretty sight (disgusting actually!!) Makes me grateful for the AC in office; but the walk from the office building to the cafeteria, in the hot hot sun, is just unbearable!! I feel like somebody's lit a fire just above me, and the wind is blowing the flames towards by neck! And I have to take that walk at least thrice a day, and this is probably gonna last the whole of May!!!! Sigh!

On the brighter side, its Friday so I have two days to rest my hot and weary self! On the other hand, there's no AC at home! Almost makes me miss office. But then, I can always go for a drink at the neighborhood restaurant! So that's settled, weekend wins! As always!!! Cheers!
